‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 7, episode 7 preview: Charlie Hunnam, ‘Greensleeves,’ and actions
You should really watch Tuesday night’s “Sons of Anarchy” episode live. Trust us. If you have any friends who watch the show or an addiction to social media, you don’t want to run the risk of anything being spoiled for you. Without hyping things up too much, early buzz suggests that this may be one of the most significant stories that we have seen all season long.
We already gave somewhat of a history lesson regarding “Greensleeves” and the possible reasons for this title, but we feel that this may be code that sacrifices and consequences could be a theme here. As for the sullen look of Jax Teller in the photo above? It’s hard to read too much into that necessarily, given that almost every episode of the show these days could have a promotional photo like this featuring Charlie Hunnam.
What we feel like we should be focusing on right now is this: Does Jax have it in him to kill Juice? The answer in theory would be yes, given that we’ve seen him kill onetime allies before, and he has also killed people for far less than what Juice has done to him and the club. Even if Theo Rossi’s character does come forward with the truth about Tara, who knows if Jax will believe him? Even if he does, he could kill Juice out of spite, or out of being an accessory in the first place.
This episode will feature one of Jax’s biggest decisions yet, and it could come within the first few episodes. He could kill Juice outright, let him go, or give him just enough of a window that he could find a way to slither out. The only reason we give this character a chance is because he has somehow escaped similar situations in the past.
Still, if Juice somehow is the last man standing, it will be the biggest surprise that creator / showrunner Kurt Sutter has delivered to date.
