‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2 spoilers: A surprising benefit to Irving’s contract

Irving -So far on “Sleepy Hollow” season 2, things have not gone particularly well for a certain man by the name of Irving. He was the fall guy upon being sent to prison, and when things are going so bad for you that you are inking a contract with the Horseman of War, it’s fair to say that things are pretty darn bad. It’s hard to have hope when you’re staring down a dark path.

However, is there a silver lining to this deal between Irving and the horseman that we did not see coming? Well, the following tease from executive producer Len Wisemen (via TV Guide) may be particularly enticing:

“There’s part of signing that contract that does work in his favor … As dark as that is, there’s something in the offer that’s quite hard to turn down. It is something that his character is going to have to struggle with because the temptation is not an easy one to turn his back on.”

The good thing when it comes to “Sleepy Hollow” is that nothing is necessarily ever-constant. For example, just because things are bad for Irving does not mean that they are bad forever. There are still many other ways in which he can turn things around, and we almost expect that he will. This is a guy who needs a win. Heck, almost everyone among the good guys does at this point.

Hopefully, we’ll have some more news very soon on when some of these “wins” could actually take some place.
