‘Reign’ season 2, episode 3: Mary, Francis highlighted in latest clip

Tomorrow night, “Reign” season 2 will be back upon us with another new episode, but to further prepare you for this particular installment, The CW has released a brand-new video that seems mostly focused on one simple thing: Highlighting the relationship that exists between Mary and Francis. These two have come a long ways since the beginning of the series, and odds are that they will only continue to do so moving forward.

Still, what a journey that they have had, which combines unlikely circumstances, real love, but also the occasional spell of heartache and insecurity. Through the fire, Mary has been able to emerge from the other side as someone who is capable of being the ruler France needs, and we just have to see if she can maintain this power when times get truly tough (mostly because they will). After all, there are a number of different obstacles that she and many others are going to be facing within the weeks ahead. While she may be getting a little bit closer to fulfilling her destiny, many more roadblocks are on the way.

The biggest thing to worry about in the immediate future goes by the name of Narcisse, and he has a particular plan of revenge that stems from genuine hurt, which is probably the most dangerous adversary of all. Then again, there is also the emotional sort of adversary, which could come in the form of Francis’ child. While Mary may do her best to embrace this part of her life, it’s really not going to be particularly easy, even for a Queen who does yield a tremendous amount of power.
