‘The Blacklist’ season 2, episode 3 video: Is James Spader’s Red in danger?

If you do enjoy your mysteries on “The Blacklist” to be somewhat grotesque, then there may be a few reasons why “Dr. James Covington” is a story that is right up your alley. There’s a killer who seems to pull out people’s hearts! We don’t quite know what is more terrible than that, if anything really is.

Of course, the thing you do have to remember here when it comes to this show is that there is going to be a whole lot more than first meets the eye with it. Given what we’ve heard about the first few episodes, Covington may be tied in some way to Berlin, and what Reddington has going on in his quest for revenge on a guy who is already out for revenge. As for some other good stuff, you can expect to see there be some sort of shocking secret that comes out of what happens with the good Doctor. Maybe this will be tied back to Liz?

If there is one thing going on with “The Blacklist” right now that we would cite as a weakness, it is the show continuing with a story that feels a little more geared towards James Spader than anyone else. We need something more personal added to the mix when it comes to Liz, regardless of whether or not we are talking about Tom or the return of someone else essential to the show’s development and her as a character.
