‘Witches of East End’ season 2 finale spoilers: Will the stories tie together?
Is it possible that another character could die on “Witches of East End” this season? We suppose saying “another character” may in some ways be a little bit of a misnomer, at least in the sense that nobody has technically died this season already. Things have just been a little bit complicated all around, and those who died were technically revived later.
So when it comes to a major character actually dying and staying dead, nobody’s really too keen on saying. Speaking to TVLine, all Madchen Amick (Wendy) would say is that there is “something pretty big” that happens … and that’s it. She did go on to add that there will be a few major stories that do get reasonably wrapped up:
“A lot of the foes that have been haunting us and a lot of the storylines will be wrapped up [in Sunday’s two-hour finale].”
In our mind, this is a pretty interesting strategy for this show to take, mostly because we’ve seen time and time again these days more of shows trying to hedge their best by creating some sort of super-shocking finale with a huge cliffhanger, and then a hope that this is enough to make a network bite on another season.
With all of this being said, we do feel pretty good in the first place that “Witches of East End” will be back for more. The ratings are solid enough, and if “Devious Maids” got a chance to continue, so should this.
