‘Scorpion’ season 1, episode 3 preview: ‘A Cyclone’ leads to desperation
Through two episodes, “Scorpion” has taught us a few things. The show has quite a team of geniuses, and when together, they are capable of being serious heroes.
However, at the same time, this team is also still raw, and that means that the potential for failure is high. That is going to happen on at least one point in “A Cyclone,” the next new episode of the series. For a few basic details, take a look at the attached synopsis:
“After Team Scorpion fails a military training mission, they are determined to prove their worth to Cabe and Homeland Security when a bomber threatens to take out the internet infrastructure of the entire Southwest.”
The preview below gives you a better sense of what you can expect in this episode, and the name of the game here appears to be a little bit of everything. Will there be action? You better believe it, and the same thing goes for humor. Given that the show is so early in its run, there is probably pressure to try to make things as exciting as possible.
The one other thing that “Scorpion” really has going for it right now is that unlike the 10:00 p.m. hour, there is not a whole lot in the way of competition against it. The show is not airing against anything else crime-related, except for maybe “Sleepy Hollow” (but we consider that to be more science fiction / fantasy). We’re excited to see what the ratings are tomorrow for the second episode.
