‘The Walking Dead’ season 5 poster: Andrew Lincoln’s Rick takes center stage

Want to get a first look at “The Walking Dead” season 5? Well, we have something for you here attached to this article, and it basically is another reminder that the old Rick Grimes is back.

With that being said, does anyone else think that Andrew Lincoln here looks somewhat like the former family man-turned hermit who lives in the mountains and shoots trespassers in this image? He looks a little curmudgeon-like to us, and the fact that he’s got that gun is not a good thing for anyone who doesn’t listen to his cries of “get off my lawn.”

Seriously, there is not a whole lot else to really talk about when it comes to this poster, largely because it speaks for itself. The motto of “Hunt or Be Hunted” could really be used for any one of the seasons for the show, with the only difference being that this time, the characters are in a little bit more of a vulnerable position. They’re venturing into heavily-populated areas again rather than a farm or some outskirts of a town, and with that in mind, there is going to be quite a bit of a reason to be afraid. Walkers could be around every turn, and that also means a potentially high death toll. Remember here that it has been a long time since we’ve lost a major character now (really since The Governor and Hershel met their end), so the time seems ripe for some major shocker.
