2014 Emmys: Where to watch, live stream red carpet pre-show
The 2014 Emmys will officially begin when primetime does on NBC Monday night, and you better believe that going into this, there is pandemonium of all sorts. After all, locals in Los Angeles are going to have to deal with rush-hour traffic on a work week (which is always terrible), coupled then with something as frustrating as limousines making everything even more jam-packed.
Now that we’ve ranted about the show airing on a terrible night, let’s get to the main order of business: Where you can watch or stream all of the latest red-carpet coverage for TV’s biggest night. Our biggest recommendation for extensive coverage is over on E!, which we regrettably know for Kardashians and mani-cams more than anything else. while you will most-likely have to deal with some terrible camera angles throughout the night in addition to constant fashion pandering, there is a ton of coverage that begins at 4:30 p.m. Eastern time. Meanwhile, the live stream component starts on their website at 5:55 p.m. Eastern, so be sure to check that out if you’re stuck at work late tonight and want to goof off.
The Emmys are definitely going to be star-studded this year, with everyone from Matthew McConaughey to Claire Danes to Kerry Washington nominated for some of the big prizes. You also have Seth Meyers hopefully killing it as host, and also a tribute to Robin Williams that may go down as one of the most meaningful moments on a TV show this year.
We’ll have of course extensive Emmy coverage all day today (including winners and reaction), and you can check much of it out starting over at the link here. Also, be sure to sign up today to get some further scoop on everything we cover at CarterMatt via our official newsletter.
