‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 5 summer finale spoilers: Emily asks Ali the question

Is Alison DiLaurentis actually “A”? We’ve wondered this with “Pretty Little Liars” for quite a long time, and there is actually a certain amount of this that makes sense. Alison of course starts with the letter A, and she already has a history of stirring up trouble. Plus, it would make some sense that she has spent the past two years completely terrorizing her “friends” from afar.

However, it almost seems too easy to assume that Ali is the one responsible for this. She constantly makes herself look guilty of something, and never tells the Liars everything that is going on. We personally feel like she is up to something in the “no good” category, but this seems to be just a little too on the nose for now.

In the sneak peek below, Emily (Shay Mitchell) straight-out asks her sometimes-love interest whether or not she is hiding a big secret, and she for the time being doesn’t answer. (That’s mostly because the video is cut off at that time.) Before that, though, there is a particularly interesting part of this that features Ali going through Emily’s phone looking to see what everyone else is saying about her. Clearly, the young woman has no interest in respecting the boundaries of anyone.

Hopefully, we’ll at least get an answer to the “is Ali A” question by the end of the episode. We don’t expect information on everything, but getting to know this much would certainly be nice at this point.
