‘Person of Interest’ season 4 spoilers: The focus of Cara Buono’s character
While there may not be a whole lot known about “Person of Interest” season 4, there is one thing that we know for sure about the character played by “Mad Men” alum Cara Buono: She is going to be down to some serious business when the show comes back. You may have already seen some violent footage of her in action, and it may get worse from there.
Speaking to TV Guide in a new interview executive producer Greg Plageman had the following to say about Buono’s character is tied to Samaritan, and this is of course something similar to what you have seen already with the character of Root:
“In the same way that Root becomes a vessel to the Machine, Samaritan has a way of tapping operatives around the world in its own unique way … Samaritan can see into people’s personal lives and even detect personality disorders or certain individuals who can be coerced into doing things.”
Do we still have our doubts when it comes to the new season? Sure, if for no other reason than that it was somewhat depressing the way that season 3 ended, and while this is a pretty bleak show most of the time, we still want to at least have a little bit of hope in something. We haven’t really been able to have a lot of that so far, but maybe things change when the show picks back up. Reese, Finch, Root, and Shaw will all be in hiding, but waiting for a chance to strike.
