ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4 spoilers: The surprise you will not see
Typically, “Revenge” tends to follow at least one consistent formula: At the start of every season, there is a flash-forward that takes a look ahead at what will be coming up the rest of the season. Take for instance last year, where we had to see Emily Thorne shot off of a boat on her wedding day. She ended up making it out of this situation alive, but not with some noticeable bumps and bruises to speak of.
So what about this season: Will there be another huge shocker to kick things off? As it turns out, the answer to this very question is “no.” According to a report from TVLine, the show is changing history, and will not give you a look ahead to future events. Then again, we can understand why they would not feel the need to include this for a number of reasons:
- The show has that epic cliffhanger with David Clarke, and that is enough to be excited alone. We have to see what he does next!
- In turn, we also have to figure out whether or not Conrad Grayson is actually still alive.
- Finally, there is the issue of determining whether or not Victoria Grayson will spend all of the fourth season within an insane asylum. Given how crafty she is, we cannot see that happening.
The new season of “Revenge” premieres on ABC Sunday, September 28 … and we cannot see that date coming soon enough.
