‘Big Brother 16’ live feed spoilers: Do the monster mash

Our feelings about there being an endurance competition on “Big Brother 16” are dashed somewhat by what we saw in the house last night … mostly because these suggested that we could be in for some sort of memory challenge in the future.

At various points late Wednesday, there were a series of scary masks that would pop up in the windows / mirrors, strobe lights, and also some clues about past Have-Not food. To us, this all suggests a memory-themed Head of Household is coming, unless this is all for a Battle of the Block in some twist.

The only thing that really has us giving any hope right now for an endurance still is the fact that the houseguests have been on an indoor lockdown really ever since all of this went down, which means traditionally that they are taking a long time to build something. For answering questions from Julie Chen, you’d think that they would only need something that lasted for a few minutes. Plus, we’re also coming off of a memory challenge for the last HoH and this would be kind of lazy.

As for strategy talk, there was very little last night. It feels pretty obvious that Nicole is leaving the game and she even knows it, which is a bummer to us given that she was our pre-show pick to win it all. Still, she may have a chance to re-enter the game if there is a public vote, given that she is pretty popular online. The only thing that would dash that for her is if Donny ends up becoming the next person out the door.
