‘Falling Skies’ season 4, episode 8 preview: Will Maggie live through ‘A Thing with Feathers’?

Things are about to get very strange (and also very creepy) on the upcoming “Falling Skies” episode airing Sunday … and we’ve got video proof of it below.

Let’s start with what is one of the more obviously strange things about the episode we’re looking at here: The title. Anytime you have something vague like “A Think With Feathers” as your name, and it basically means that you are wrestling with something that is somewhat new to you, and you’ve yet to fully understand it. That alone should read “big trouble.”

Also, you’ve literally got Maggie struggling to stay alive now, and also some transformations that could have deadly consequences. Let’s just hope that this is a different sort of metamorphosis than the one that Franz Kafka envisioned back in his book.

“The 2nd Mass picks up the pieces after a devastating alien attack leaves Maggie fighting for her life…and Hal fighting for Maggie. Meanwhile, Tom and Dingaan (guest star Treva Etienne) are cut off from the rest of the group, buried under tons of rubble, where they must rely on an Enemy Ship to rescue them.”

 Ultimately, we expect some sort of carnage to show through before the hour is over, whether that comes from the enemies or within the 2nd Mass. We’re too deep into season 4 right now for things to be even remotely calm at this point.
