‘Graceland’ season 2, episode 8 preview: This time, Briggs’ personal life causes trouble
There seems to at least be some sort of recurring theme going on right now with “Graceland” season 2: Personal lives getting in the way of missions. Jakes had one of the more prominent stories in this department early in the season, and this was followed up not that long after by some more trouble when it comes to Mike.
So where are we going moving into next week’s “The Ends”? This is basically a situation where Briggs’ personal life could get in the way for whatever mission comes ahead. Also, be prepared to see a whole lot more drama when it comes to the cartel, and Johnny probably falling for one of the worst people imaginable. Seriously, there should be a rule put in here somewhere ensuring that you only fall for people who are outside of dangerous situations.
While we’ll have a promo for this episode a little later in the week, you can for now check out the official synopsis below:
“Charlie attempts to form a bond with a bank robber while Johnny tries to keep his feelings for a cartel leader’s daughter in check. Briggs’ personal life creates huge complications for his undercover.”
The sad part of this story is mostly the reality that there is only so much more story that is going to be airing this summer, and many questions are left unanswered. For example, what happens with Briggs from here, and is there ever going to be any real peace for these “residents”? We know that we don’t want to see it for long (the show feeds off of drama), but a little here and there would be nice.
