ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 4 spoilers: Kerry Washington, cast begin filming

For all who love “Scandal,” there is good news coming out today: The show is officially under way again! Production started for Kerry Washington and the rest of the cast on Monday, and they will be hard at work in Los Angeles up until the moment the show premieres on September 25 and beyond.

With this production starting up, this now means that every show within the Shonda Rhimes lineup is now hard at work at producing some new episodes. That is quite an ordeal; heck, even having one show on the air is commendable and something that should really be celebrated.

The season 4 premiere of the show will of course begin with the writers trying to resolve the mystery of everything that happened to Olivia Pope at the end of season 3. Is she back in Washington? We have to believe so, but the question worth asking is what she picked up from her time with Jake that she can use in the future … and also what their relationship now is. There are also questions regarding Abbie’s role, what Huck is up to now that he has seen his family, and whether or not OPA will be initiating some sort of hiring process after losing Harrison. Suffice it to say, there is a lot of ground to cover in this hour, which will be one of the most important of the entire show’s run so far.
