TNT’s ‘Dallas’ season 3 spoilers: Who didn’t start the fire?
It has been a little while since there has been really anything to share about “Dallas” season 3, but that is largely due to the fact that new episodes haven’t aired in months. Luckily, the show is returning to TNT now in a matter of weeks, and we have the first (very tiny) tease of what will be coming up.
This first episode back is entitled “Denial, Anger, Acceptance,” which are all a part of the stages of grief. That certainly doesn’t bode well for anything that is happening within the actual hour itself. The synopsis below basically goes in the predictable direction, based on what happened at the end of the first part of the season:
“The Ewing family tries to discover who set the fire at the Southfork Ranch.”
So who started the fire? There is admittedly a part of us that immediately thinks to Ryan on “The Office” sending a fire in the microwave whenever we hear about these sort of stories … even though this one is more serious. We are pleased that “Dallas” is moving in this direction; personally, we find that this show is at its best when there are mysteries like this to solve, and people who have serious motivations for wanting to do something terrible. Let’s remind ourselves here that being good people is not something that the Ewing family is necessarily known for, so it’s almost more like finding out who is not a suspect than who actually is.
We’ll have some further news about this episode in the near future, so be sure to keep checking back.
