‘Big Brother 16’ live feed spoilers: Love hurts, starring Caleb Reynolds
The glorious thing about “Big Brother” is that going into any season, you never have an idea for sure of what you can expect. Case in point: Who in their right mind believed that Caleb Reynolds, otherwise known as Mr. Beast Mode Cowboy, was going to spend all of his time obsessing over a woman in Amber who didn’t like him back?
We feel like, psychologically, this is totally “you want what you can’t have” syndrome. He is a guy who has probably been told “yes” by most of the women he has approached throughout his entire life, and he has now run into someone who told him “no.” He doesn’t realize that he is making himself look pretty pathetic to everyone watching the show, especially based on some of the events from last night.
As Amber and Cody continued to flirt and grow a little closer, Caleb eventually started huffing and puffing and death-staring until Zach, who always likes to cause trouble for people, threw out there that she is the main target for next week. The plan now is to evict Brittany rather than Donny, and make sure that Amber goes to finally end all of the problems within the guys’ group.
With this being said, we’re totally pulling for a Romeo & Juliet situation (minus the part where they die) where Cody and Amber try to converse covertly and get even closer, just to see Caleb’s head explode when they watch it later. It’s another form of “you want what you can’t have,” with the difference being that they both want it, and Caleb is keeping them from being near each other. Amber complained last night that she was “not allowed” to be near Cody, which must stink for her.
But in the end, thank you Zach for making more problems than you really needed to, and an honorable mention to Christine, who also is serving as a great mole to the guys and reporting back on everything the women are saying. We’re not necessarily rooting for the men, but we are disappointed with how lackluster most of the women are strategically this year.
