‘The Blacklist’ season 2: Check out James Spader in new Comic-Con poster

The Blacklist logo any seasonWith this summer being a pretty dry one when it comes to news on “The Blacklist,” we’re pretty thrilled to be able to share at least something new today: The show’s official poster for Comic-Con.

While there are not a whole lot of details available just yet in terms of when the show will be appearing, you can at least take some solace in the fact that it will be turning up in San Diego with a panel that hopefully includes James Spader. It’s hard to imagine that you could do one without him, though we also wonder how many times he will be brandished with questions about the next “Avengers” movie.

The poster does not exactly reveal anything new, other than of course reminding us that Raymond Reddington is an awesome character. This could potentially be an enormous week for James, given that the Emmy nominations are going to be coming out on Thursday, and he is at the moment one of the candidates for an Actor in a Drama Series nomination.

Hopefully, at least one person is going to ask the question that is on our mind: Does the scarring on Reddington in the finale prove definitively that he is Liz Keen’s father, or that he just happened to be there during the fire? There’s already been plenty of debate and discussion about this already, and it will most likely continue the rest of the summer. The show returns on Mondays this fall, but will move to Thursdays later so that “State of Affairs” can take the spot after “The Voice.”

What do you think about this poster, and are you hoping for more news related to “The Blacklist” soon? Let us know below.
