‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 2 finale spoilers: Will Vincent and Cat stop Gabe?
What in the world is going on with Gabe on “Beauty and the Beast“? Going into the finale Monday night, this is definitely a question that is running through our brain. This was a guy who at one point in the show’s run, wanted nothing more than to put all memories of being a beast out of his mind.
Now, Gabe has fully embraced that part of himself to awful levels, and has put Vincent and Cat in more danger than ever before. He’s desperate, and with his own life falling apart wants nothing more than to see the complete downfall of this relationship by and means. The finale tonight is entitled “Deja Vu,” which definitely makes some sense given that there are definitely some similarities between this and the end of season 1. The main difference is that there is even more room for things to go wrong this time, and we would not be shocked if there was a significant death that happens at some point during the hour.
Before you do anything else, take a look at the full synopsis for this episode below to get some extra insight:
“Cat (Kristin Kreuk) searches for a way to thwart Gabe (Sendhil Ramamurthy) and finds her answer in an unexpected place: the journal of her ancestor, which makes Cat fear the only way to stop Gabe is by killing Vincent (Jay Ryan).”
While we do not want to see Sendhil Ramamurthy have to leave yet another show given that he exited both “Heroes” and “Covert Affairs” early, we have a hard time figuring out what he would do on this show if he was to make it past this episode. The story of Gabe feels like it is almost at an end, and there is no way he can redeem himself anymore. If this finale turns out to be the last time we see the character, hopefully it is an epic as humanly possible so that he makes the biggest impact imaginable.
