‘Glee’ season 6: Lea Michele laughs off Naya Rivera feud in David Letterman interview
Now that you know that both Lea Michele and Naya Rivera are going to be coming back on “Glee” for season 6, isn’t it time that we are able to put the biggest rumor about the two of them to bed?
Over the past month or so, you’ve probably heard plenty about these two supposedly getting in some sort of on-set argument that led to Naya storming off. There have also been a flurry of other rumors, and some of them have also been tied to what we know to be true: For some reason, she was written out of the finale despite her onscreen love interest Heather Morris being present for the episode.
While Lea had not addressed the matter before now, she did happen to do so in a chat with David Letterman that will air on CBS tonight:
“It’s really unbelievable the amount of things that can just be competely made up … If there were ever really a catfight on the show, you’d know about it, because I’d get a ring, and I’d put jello in it, and I’d make it fun for everyone, and it would be super hot.”
In the end, we are still super-curious about what led to Naya not being a part of some of the “Glee” episodes in the second half of this season, but we do at least believe what Lea is saying here. If there are some problems involving Naya, they probably have to do more with something that goes beyond just one of the actors on the show. We couldn’t see anyone being written out over something like an argument.
