‘Glee’ season 6: Will Sue Sylvester return? Jane Lynch hopes so
We are a little early still in the process to really know anything that is going to be coming up on “Glee” in the future, but isn’t speculation fun sometimes? There are many actors who have their fate floating around in the wind, and Jane Lynch is one of them. She’s been mostly MIA since the characters moved to New York City, even though Sue Sylvester did turn up for the “Funny Girl” premiere.
While Jane herself doesn’t quite know whether or not she’ll be back for more, she did tell HollywoodLife that one of the reasons why was optimistic was the mere fact that she showed up at the upfronts in the first place:
“They had me come to upfronts so I hope I’m coming back! If they bring you to upfronts, it’s usually a good thing,”
We’ve said for a little while now that our primary goal for the “Glee” final season is getting an opportunity to say goodbye to all of our beloved characters, and we would like to see an approach that gives us an opportunity to see what many of the show’s characters are going to be up to in the future. This includes Sue Sylvester, and at least an episode or two focusing on her would be appreciated. Is she that tied to some of the younger characters? Not really, but the New York story definitely wasn’t pulling in the ratings. While we thought that it was much improved over what we saw in the fall, the only opinions that really matter are those that belong to the viewers at home watching.
