ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4 spoilers: One very cryptic tease on show’s future

Tonight on ABC, “Revenge” is going to be allowing season 3 to come to a close with an episode that will hopefully be one thing above all else: Shocking. We want to see jaws on the floor, and people to actually start talking again about a show that has improved in this second season compared to where it was at this time a year ago.

Unfortunately, there isn’t too much that we can say for the moment about the show’s fourth season, save for a very tiny tease showrunner Sunil Nayar gave to Entertainment Weekly about whether or not tonight changes the game: It does and in ways you can’t begin to imagine…”

So how can the finale change things? The interesting thing is that the one thing we were begging to see weeks ago was for the show to get Victoria to finally realize the truth about Emily, and now we have gravitated to the point where that has happened (and there is much rejoicing).

Now that this has happened and the Graysons are seemingly destroyed, what could be interesting now is that both Emily and Victoria are equally invested in their desire for revenge, and seeing the two of them battle it out with all of the information is to us much more interested than continuing to have people lurking around in the shadows. Why not ramp up the drama as much as humanly possible?
