ABC’s ‘Resurrection’ finale spoilers: ‘Torn Apart’ features the living vs. the dead

Resurrection -Throughout the entire first season of “Resurrection,” we have been building slowly towards something huge and dramatic in the town of Arcadia, Missouri. Next week, we are finally going to be there with an episode entitled “Torn Apart.” There will be the potential for actual death, and at least a few shockers that are impossible to see coming … even if you’ve been watching this series from start to finish.

Before we do anything else now, take a look at the officially synopsis below via ABC:

The town of Arcadia is in a state of chaos when the return of the deceased reaches a critical mass. Bellamy has no other choice than to ask for outside aid which backfires when Sheriff Fred steps in with his own agenda, triggering a siege on the town that no one saw coming.”

What this event likely means is all sorts of violence, and also more of the returned than we have seen to date. The unfortunate thing about getting “outside help” is that it hasn’t been there nearly as long as you have, and it therefore doesn’t quite come close to understanding everything that is going on. This makes sensitivity close to impossible, which of course makes it very hard for peace to be at an equilibrium.

Based on what we see in the promo, though, we have even more evidence that the show is building towards something more in the event that it is renewed. There’s almost no way that this hour will function as a series finale.
