‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 10 spoilers: Cristina / Owen, Callie / Arizona scoop ahead
Everyone knows that “Grey’s Anatomy” loves their romantic storylines, and also loves to give them a lot of screen time as you get closer and closer to the end of the season. So as we near the moment where the curtain drops on season 10, you start to get more and more of the sense of why Cristina Yang is leaving Seattle … and Owen will be factor in it.
The show’s 20th episode this season (airing on April 17) is going to be titled “Go It Alone,” and based on the synopsis below, her decision to not take Owen to a gala is a very telling sign where her heart lines, and what her plans are for the future. Also, there’s some other scoop in here on two other couples for good measure:
“Cristina enlists Meredith to help her prepare an acceptance speech for her possible Harper Avery win and while Owen offers to attend the ceremony with her, she insists on going alone. Meanwhile, Derek feels overwhelmed between his responsibilities at home and at the hospital. April and Jackson come to a disagreement on children and religion, and Callie and Arizona try to reconnect in their marriage.”
The biggest surprise in here for us is mostly that April and Jackson will be still fighting on the same things that they were fighting about earlier this spring. The difficult thing about this is that if things go badly enough, they could become the new Cristina and Owen, loving each other and wrestling with their relationship despite clearly wanting different things in their future. If they want this new marriage to last, they have to make it work on things they really should have talked about a while ago.
