‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 10, episode 17 video: Sandra Oh’s Cristina makes a confession

Thursday’s “Grey’s Anatomy” is going to be one for the ages … and also the most-important one arguably of Sandra Oh’s entire time on the show. It may be a little bit wacky to think about it like this, but at the end of Thursday night’s new episode “Do You Know,” it is actually very possible that we are going to have an idea why Dr. Cristina Yang is going to leave the Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital for good at the end of the season.

So is Owen going to somehow be involved in this? Based on the information that we know right now, we personally believe so for one simple reason: So long as this guy is around, it is almost impossible for her to be able to move forward. She loves him, he loves her, and while they both may try to move on from time to time, they eventually each come fluttering back to each other.

The question that you have to ask yourself right now is if the content in the sneak-peek video below is even real. Typically, we would never really question it, since this is clearly what Shonda Rhimes and the writers wanted us to see in this given moment. However, this is the “sliding doors” episode! Basically the entire story is basically spent with Cristina looking at various ways her future could go depending on some of the choices that she makes today, and she really has to figure out just which way is the best for her to travel. It may not be a similar sort of show at all, but the best comparison to this is the 100th episode of “The Big Bang Theory,” where Leonard tried to map out what his future could be for himself and Penny.
