‘American Horror Story’ season 4 spoilers: Carnival / circus theme confirmed?

American Horror Story -While there may still be many details about “American Horror Story” season 4 that are still not confirmed, there is one thing that we know now when it comes to the setting: Some of those circus / carnival theories out there were pretty much true. Much like prior to the announcement of “Coven,” many of the people out there who made the fake promotional artwork were actually correct.

During a new Nerdist Writers Panel podcast released over the weekend, Douglas Petrie (a writer on the show) confirmed that the aforementioned theme was “roughly” the idea that the show was planning to go with. This is something that could be turned into a very interesting idea, but it all depends on whether or not the writers figure out what to properly tell the story without giving into cliches. For example, we will throw all of them a metaphorical party if they make this season out to be something more than just a legion of very scary clowns.

Filming for the new “American Horror Story” will start up this summer presumably, with the premiere being around the same time in October as the last two installments. Alongside “Sons of Anarchy,” this remains the most popular show on FX, and there is quite a bit invested into making sure it is awesome.
