‘American Horror Story’ season 4 spoilers: Was there a clue in the ‘Coven’ finale?

“American Horror Story” fans have yet another reason to obsess over the recent season finale for “Coven.” After all, based on what we have just heard, it appears that there may have been a clue in that episode that nobody actually had an opportunity to catch.

According to a new report from E! News, Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk (otherwise known as the show’s two executive producers) claim that there was a little Easter Egg of sorts about the new season in the finale. that nobody has probably figured out just yet (at least by their own estimation). This should hold some over more until the series hits up PaleyFest next month, where we assume there are going to be plenty more hints dropped about just what will be coming up moving forward. Most of the cast along with the creative team will be there to potentially discuss more from both the past as well as the present.

Some of the bigger theories out there regarding the new season are that it could involve a circus in some way, or potentially a terrible period of time in Nazi Germany. The bigger piece of evidence regarding that one is mostly just that we know Jessica Lange to be playing a character with a German accent. That has already been hinted at pretty strongly. As for the circus one, that is a rumor that got a little bit out of control courtesy of some posters that surfaced across the internet. It is still pretty early, and therefore hard to tell just what the tale is going to be about … unless of course you can decipher a hint and take a more educated guess.
