‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 10, episode 13 review: Alex’s father; April’s choice
Leave it to a show like “Grey’s Anatomy” to completely start off the second half of its season on a completely emotional note. We started off on a high with April deciding that she was going to be with Jackson, and then there were a variety of sad moments that unfolded from there.
Let’s start here with Alex’s father Jimmy, whose battle finally ended … and it was a pretty darn difficult one. James Remar was great in this story from start to finish, but it was very nice to see that in the end, Alex did find some sort of peace that he had long been hoping for. Will this help his relationship with Jo? We hope so.
There were also of course massive consequences of Jackson’s move, which are going to play a pretty severe role over the weeks ahead. What are we talking about here specifically? Someone (we’re guessing Stephanie) making the decision to file a formal complaint against the hospital, saying that she was harassed and hurt in the internship program by a superior. This is the sort of thing that could cripple the hospital, and thanks to that, a new policy was introduced to keep relationships from happening within the halls.
Now, let’s end with the biggest surprise of all: The show ended on a happy note, and with the revelation that April and Jackson were married! She moved immediately from being with one person to the other, which is completely crazy, but apparently the only way that they could ensure that friends and family would continue to talk to them after what they went through.
There were some good individual moments through the hour, as Meredith and Derek are dealing with a broken promise, and Ross has to get over all sorts of problems stemming from him overdoing it at the hospital and fudging his numbers. Grade: B.

worst.priemier.ever. However, after the plane crash was glossed over in the season opener, then Meridiths baby was apparently born no issues, why would I be surprised that we would be ripped off of the most anticipated drama of the year? Ticked days off on my calendar until Grey’s came back so I could see what would happen at April’s wedding only to find out nothing. nah, lets just forget this and go right to cat man, he’s much more interesting… THUMBS DOWN!
