‘Teen Wolf’ season 3 spoilers: Holland Roden on fears over Stiles

Is Stiles going to die on “Teen Wolf” season 3? We know that there have been fears of this for quite a while now, and the new episode that aired over on MTV Monday night probably did nothing other than poke the fire of those fears for a minute or two. This is one of the show’s most-beloved characters, and it’s hardly a shock to know that there are some people out there concerned over his well-being.

As for that original question, though … of course there is no definitive way to answer it beyond just saying that “all will be explained in due time,” and the series is planning to show you a trajectory so that whatever happens to Stiles will make sense. Holland Roden (who plays Lydia on the show) did her part to elaborate on this a little bit as a part of a new interview with E! News:

“[What lies ahead is] about dealing with are we going to be OK with that if [Stiles] does [die] and the fallout of this evil spirit being in him and what is the consequence of that.”

So what sort of stuff is this evil spirit going to do to Stiles? Well, we can imagine that it will be a whole chorus of things that potentially could corrupt him, and even if he manages to escape alive, there’s a difference between that and being in one peace. He may have to suffer for much of the rest of his life if he makes it, even though we’re obviously hoping for an ending that it is a little less on the side of doom and gloom.
