‘The Walking Dead’ season 4 spoilers: Will we learn baby Judith’s fate soon?

“The Walking Dead” is a show that really does not rely that heavily on the element of mystery, unless you are of course talking about how this zombie apocalypse ever started in the first place. Instead, we see this as a show more about social dynamics, relationships, and really just people doing what they can to make it another day in this world.

With all of this being said, the show has still managed to cultivate itself a pretty fantastic mystery courtesy of what in the world is going on with Baby Judith. In the end, this is a mystery that almost had to happen in some ways. Maybe the show really is out for whatever reason to create some sort of mystery regarding whether or not this baby is still alive, but as Robert Kirkman told Entertainment Weekly, part of the mystery with the status of the youngest member of the Grimes clan is built simply out of the fact that they cannot show a baby perish on TV:

“I’m going to start with the not awesome thing: Judith was a baby in a place with free-roaming walkers, so the math isn’t very good there … On top of that, there’s things we wouldn’t show on television…so there’s that. But the awesome thing is that the answers to a lot of these questions come sooner rather than later. These answers will come quite quickly.”

So with this being said, Judith’s status will be unveiled, and then from there you can start to dive in and enjoy some of the stories of some of the other survivors that are still out there. As we’ve seen in the previews for the next new episode, you are going to have an opportunity to start to see just what everyone has been up to in their time since they last surfaced.
