‘The Blacklist’ spoilers: ‘Fringe,’ ‘American Horror Story’ alum Lance Reddick to appear

Lance Reddick is not wasting too much time leaping from one series to another. Following his time on “Fringe” as well as “American Horror Story: Coven,” the actor and master of doing very awesome things has also booked a role on NBC’s hit “The Blacklist.”

So what sort of role is Reddick going to play? Here is what we know so far: According to TV Guide, Reddick is going to come on the series in the role of “The Cowboy,” an asset for James Spader’s Raymond Reddington. He is going to appear in the same episode as Dianne West, who is playing the part of a character who helps with an amnesty organization similar to some that exist in the real world.

“The Blacklist” has assembled a pretty excellent roster of guest stars over the past several months, and the big reason for that is simple: This is a show that does fare well in the ratings, and anyone hoping to snatch a role in a new pilot, for example, can use these extra roles on their resume. Not only that, but it is likely going to be a high-quality role. There are not too many other shows on network TV that really yield you the same sort of opportunities that you are likely to land here on “The Blacklist”.

What do you think about Reddick’s casting, and are you as pumped-up as ever to see the rest of this season? Then be sure to share your thoughts below.
