‘New Girl’ season 3, episode 15 preview: See Schmidt’s remade apartment!

Who thought that Schmidt was going to settle for anything but the best in his new loft? That is why the sneak peek below from Tuesday night’s “New Girl” is basically the least surprising thing of all time.

In the clip below, you can see Schmidt be ever so humble as he introduces Winston and Coach to his new place, which somehow is completely furnished despite how it was pretty much barren the last time that we saw it. Obviously, there are some pretty important questions that come with it:

1. How in the world is Schmidt so wealthy? Did he just put himself in tremendous, Nick Miller amounts of debt to look cool?

2. If Schmidt can actually afford all of this stuff, then why in the world was he choosing to live with the gang in the loft in the first place? Is he really that in need of interpersonal communication?

It is pretty unusual for there to be a new episode of the show airing a mere two days after the last one, but when you think about it for a minute, it makes a heck of a lot of sense. You’re coming off an episode that just delivered on getting a ton of exposure, and you want to make sure that everything else you do is to support that. If there was no new episode tonight, it would mean not having something on for a good nine days after the big game, and that’s not taking advantage of the promotion. Also, the Olympics are on next week, which is a terrible thing for any show to go up against without knowing how it is going to fare.
