‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 7, episode 15 preview: Sheldon, Amy, and a perfect date?
Has Amy Farrah Fowler finally figured out a way to make Sheldon get into a date on “The Big Bang Theory“? It is at least possible, based on some of the first footage that is out there right now for “The Locomotive Manipulation,” the new episode of the show airing on Thursday.
This installment is Valentine’s Day themed, and the story revolves around in part Sheldon and Amy getting on none other than a train while heading on a romantic trip with Howard and Bernadette. And you know … there is nothing that Sheldon loves more than trains! Unfortunately for Amy, the promo below suggests that he spends way more of his time getting into train action with one of his fellow passengers than partaking in anything romantic with his girlfriend. We imagine that she is not going to be particularly thrilled by this.
As for some other news related to this episode, this is the one that features a new love interest for Raj, in the form of a vet who ends up caring for his ailing dog Cinnamon. Leonard and Penny are also involved in this storyline. While we know that all of this is going to be important to the story, it is not teased at all in the promo. This could be something carries over into multiple episodes, depending on if the writers are satisfied with how it turns out.
So why is the Valentine’s Day episode of the show airing on February 6 and not the 13th? The easy answer for that is that rather than go against the Winter Olympics, CBS is going to be taking a little bit of time off. Most of the networks seem to be taking a “duck and cover” approach at least when it comes to the first part of the games.
