‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 10 spoilers: Get ready for more from Alex’s dad

“Grey’s Anatomy” season 10 is going to be back on the air on Thursday, February 27, and there is one thing that we can guarantee for you in the second half of the season: More of the story surrounding Alex’s dad.

The last time that we saw James Remar on the show, Alex had decided that he was not going to give him the time of day anymore. From our vantage point, that was actually a pretty smart choice. It really did not feel like there was anything else that he was going to be able to get out of this relationship, so why waste time on it?

However, we know now that this story at least is not over, even if it is unclear just how Alex’s father will manifest himself in the future. According to a new report from TV Guide, Susan Chuang of “Victorious” fame is getting set to appear as the estranged wife of Alex’s dad, and suffice it to say, she is not going to be any more excited to see the character than Alex has been as of late. That means to us a great opportunity to see some drama unfold, and to hopefully get a better sense as to just the overall worldview about this guy. Could it bring Alex closer to his father again at the end of the day? That is what we are the most interested to find out right now.
