ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 3, episode 13 review: Did Jack commit to Margaux?
There are so many moments on “Revenge” that venture into terrible and dark territory, and with that in mind, you really have to celebrate some of the little, happy moments on the show.
Therefore, we don’t want to start this episode review by sharing some of the sad and the negative when it comes to this story. Instead, how about Jack taking his relationship to Margaux to the next level? He didn’t necessarily propose, but it does look like the two are going to be moving in together. We know that many want him and Emily to be endgame, but the reality here is that these two have a nice chemistry. The only unfortunate thing is that like Emily, Margaux has a history now of lies. She did not share with him, after all, that Conrad now owns a part of her magazine.
In getting back to the main storyline, we seemingly saw the end of Sara on the show this week, as she made the decision to get out of this insanity before it was really too late for her and her family. Daniel of course did not take this well, and it led to a pretty violent confrontation that reminded us of just how awful a position Emily is in. She may be starting to get her plan back together, but she is still struggling with serious after-effects of the shooting. Also, did she just sleep with Conrad? Really? This is disturbing on almost every level, and a shocker that we definitely didn’t see coming. Grade: B.

I don’t get this show. I think the writing has gone down hill. No longer is Emily getting revenge but everyone is getting revenge on her.
This is just getting stupid and they need to bring it back LONG before the season finale. I cant stand shows that end for an entire year leaving you hanging.

This episode completely baffled me. What happened at the end? Emily couldnt have slept with Conrad, and he couldnt have called her Mrs Grayson? She was just visiting him, right? I cant believe they came up with this episode, it was such a strange one with the blackouts.

I may be the only person who agrees Margaux and Jack have a good chemistry, but I really think they do. So I’d be more than ok with more of them.
Then again, I willingly admit that I watch this show to get my fill of the lovely Karine Vanasse, who really should have her own show and I don’t know why she doesn’t. Seriously, I probably fast forward through at least half of every episode and still never seem to be lost as to what is happening on this show. Karine really is the only bright spot on this otherwise awful program.
I had mixed feelings when I learned that she is being upped to a regular (let’s face it, it’s happening) for the show’s 4th season. On the one hand, that means more of this amazingly talented actress. On the other hand, I’m going to have to continue (kinda) watching this awful show.

“I’m going to have to continue watching this awful show”. No one’s forcing you to watch squat. There’s a thing called an off button on the TV.
And all of the negative Revenge comments are basically “blah blah blah… I can’t count, so new characters are too much…blah blah blah… The show is trying to make me think, so I need to label it confusing…blah blah blah… The show is changing, so I need to label what I don’t agree with as a plot hole…”
If you hate this show so much, go watch something you enjoy and stop whining about shows/movies/video games you don’t like. It’s extremely irritating to those who enjoy the show. Yeah Revenge has a few flaws, but it’s far from a bad show.

If you had actually read the comment in full before spouting off you would have noticed that MJ gave the reason that he/she watches the show. It’s for the same reason I do, the wonderful and talented Karine Vanasse who quite frankly is being wasted at the moment. I’ll keep watching in the hope that now she’s been bumped up to series regular they’ll give her more to do, but we’ll see. I’d watch anything for Karine but I’m not feeling Revenge that much at the moment.

I did read the comment in full. Watching something you dislike just because you like one character/actor is still stupid. It gets extremely irritating to hear people like you get all “Wah, Jack needs to get over his family and stop whining about the Graysons killing them, wakka wakka wakka”; the dude LOST HIS FAMILY!!! Fanbases that label grieving characters as “whiny, spoiled bitches” is stupid and insensitive.
My main reason for hoping there won’t be a fourth season is so all you whiners will shut up.
