‘The Originals’ spoilers: Is there trouble ahead for Hayley and Elijah?

Fans of Phoebe Tonkin and Daniel Gillies, brace yourselves: The prospective couple could have some hard times ahead on “The Originals,” as it will be revealed that one of Elijah / Hayley may not have been the most forthcoming when it comes to information. (Warning: Spoilers ahead!)

Specifically, we are talking here about Hayley, and how a plan that she had with Sophie is going to start to unravel to the point where she tries to figure out the best way to tell him the truth about the part that she was planning to play. This will take place in the show’s January 21 episode, which carries with it the interesting title of “Apres Moi, le Déluge.” This literally translates to be “after me, the flood,” a famous quote that was wrongfully cited over the course of history to Louis XV. In the context of this show, we can assume it to mean almost the aftermath of something significant that takes place.

It’s not going to be too much longer until you see an appearance from Morgan over on “The Vampire Diaries,” so it’s fair to be excited at this point.
