‘American Idol XIII’ video: Is Harry Connick Jr. starting to go crazy?

2014 is literally just about here, and one of many things that we are looking forward to seeing this year is the new season of “American Idol.” After the past few months of filming auditions and really hyping things up, the folks over at Fox are desperate to have us think that we really are dealing with a very different show this year. At the end of the day, we really do hope that they are right. This is a show that we want to be amazing, just like it was in the old days.

The one thing that they are doing right at the moment is being sure to emphasize all of the great stuff in some of their new promos, including this new video below that focuses very much on Harry Connick Jr. saying some pretty wacky things. Not only that, but at one point he was advised by Keith Urban to go and take some medication.

The reason that we feel like the judges are getting along so well this year is because everyone seems to be coming in with a very specific attitude and philosophy. Everyone wanted to be on the same page and focus on the contestants, and Keith, Jennifer Lopez, and Harry seem to be doing just that. They are still having their fun, but they are doing it as a group, and are not just angrily trying to fight with one another.
