‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 7: Starting the conversation on the (likely) final chapter
On Tuesday night, “Sons of Anarchy” is going to wrap up its sixth season; but before we come to talking about the finale, why not start the conversation about what is coming up down the road and what will likely begin in the writers room early next year for season 7, with filming starting to take place at first in late spring / early summer. While you can probably assume Jax Teller will be around based on the sole fact that this is his story, there’s really no guarantee about anyone else at this point.
While there will probably be a few more details revealed about the story a little later tonight, for now take a look at some of the news that is already out there.
1. It will (most likely) be the end of the series – Creator Kurt Sutter has said already that the show is going to come to a close, pending some sort of twist during the writing process that requires him to have extra episodes. For now, it’s better to just assume that this will be like every other season in terms of episode count.
2. It’s not the end of the SAMCRO story – At some point a year or more after the show’s end, Sutter has expressed an interest in going back and telling a prequel story. He just doesn’t have an interest in diving right in without getting a little bit of distance from his original show first.
3. The story descends further into madness – With every season comes more and more complexity, at least when it comes to the characters and their relationships. While this won’t be confirmed for some time, it would be a bigger shocker than Lee Toric’s death for season 7 to show up with a bunch of episodes only running an hour long. Expect some more lengthy ones, which we know most diehard fans appreciate.
What do you want to see on “Sons of Anarchy” next season? Of course, we want to hear what some of your theories are in the comment box below. The link here is your source for all things related to the motorcycle drama, including our review of the finale after it airs later.

I think going into Season 7 you will see Unser getting a little more love and affection from Gemma…Unser is Gemmas best friend but could potentially be her biggest ally. Unser knows Gemma had knowledge of and was behind pushing Clay to killing John Teller and by now he also had figured out Gemma killed Tara, those are 2 gigantic secrets that Unser knows about Gemma that not only effect her future relationship with her son and 2 grandsons but also her life as you’d expect that even know Gemma is Jax’ mother if he finds out both of those secrets he would undoubtably kill her. Margaret Murphy might also find a small arc in season 7 because if you remember from Season 4, Tara gave a Manila envelope to her with instructions to give it to Jax if anything was to happen to Tara (I’m sure Gemma’s part in JTs death is explained within the letters in the envelope)…one last thing I’m thinking is even though on sure Jax will not go through with the deal he made with Patterson prior to Tara dying BUT when the episode ends Patterson and the ATF agents walk in with a distraught Jax holding Tara. Like any other murder scene I’m sure they will canvas the area and collect as much evidence as possible. Among them sorting through the kitchen they could very well stumble upon the “bullet” that Tara has in her pocket book containing Bobby’s DNA from the shooting when the club broke Clay out of the prison transport. So even though Jax won’t agree to taking the rap for the school shooting incident, RICO very well could be back in play against the club if Patterson gets her hands on the bullet!

I nearly fell off my couch in tears when Tara died and i seen juice cleaning the evidence. I mean come on, who the hell truly wants Jax to take the fall for BOTH Tara and the sheriffs murder. I want to see Jax do the job.

I think Juice will end up taking the blame for Tara, there was a homeless lady walking past him last night at the garbage can so she may come forward and rat him out.
