There is at least one moment during the video below for Wednesday’s “Arrow” season 2 episode where you could start to get mildly confused as to whether or not you are watching a show on The CW, or the latest match of the WWE. Why? At one point, you have a guy getting clotheslined by someone wearing a mask.
Then, you take a deep breath and realize that the victim here is the not-so-innocent Roy Harper, who was already running for his life in the first place after it looks like a certain office is about to go down in a blaze of glory. (At the same time, this could be the greatest reminder ever to not run around indoors.)
So far on the show, Roy’s been more of a third-tier sidekick than anything, being more or less a source of information on what is going on in the Glades. He may be feisty, but it feels like his greatest talent is really getting himself hurt more so than actually saving lives. All in all, that doesn’t bode well for him here.
As for who could end up capturing Roy as a result of this, just think for a minute about who has been perceived as the Big Bad of the season so far. This is at least a portion of the story, but it is definitely not all of it. Be prepare for a few surprises on what’s being described a pretty epic hour of TV.
What do you think about this video, and do you think that terrible things are going to happen to Roy by the time this episode is over? Even for a superhero show, The CW has found a way to put a love triangle in here (and surprisingly, we find ourselves caring quite a bit).
