ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 3 spoilers: ‘Payback,’ and Charlotte’s birthday party

Just in case you wanted to see some proof that “Revenge” is still going to be focusing on the lives of the various rich folks in the Hamptons after the wedding, here is what you need to know: They’ll still be around. Not only that, but a certain episode immediately after the winter hiatus is going to be focusing on a birthday party.

According to a report from E! News, the fourteenth episode of the season is going to be entitled “Payback,” and the rather lighthearted event at the center of the story is going to be none other than Charlotte’s own birthday party. Expect it to be lavish, and she is going all out to turn this into some sort of big lavish affair. Why would she do this? One possible explanation here could be that she’s tired of sitting around and feeling miserable, and therefore wants to shake up her life a little bit. Or, another good explanation here could be that she actually thinks that her life is in good shape again. Maybe Emily Throne does leave town after what happens to her, or some of the other characters believe that she is dead.

We’re going to find out the answers to most of these important questions related to the shooting come Sunday night, when the show airs its winter finale following “Once Upon a Time.” This is going to be probably the most important hour of the past year or so, at least when it comes to answering the question of if the wedding really happens, who shoots Emily, and where the story goes from there. Charlotte’s birthday is what we are going to see when the dust starts to settle a little bit.
