ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 3, episode 9 video: What stunner about Emily VanCamp’s Emily is out?
After a brief hiatus, “Revenge” season 3 will be back on the air Sunday night, which means more opportunities for Emily Thorne and Victoria Grayson to glare at each other … seriously. As a matter of fact, the new sneak peek below for this episode teases what may quite possibly be the ugliest glare session of them all.
Over the past eight episodes, the goal for Emily VanCamp’s character has been simple: To use her wedding to Daniel Grayson as a way to fake her own death, and then have Victoria Grayson arrested for her murder. She’s put a lot of thought and time into trying to make sure that this plan goes off more or less without a hitch. But, along the way, Victoria has at least done a pretty admirable job of trying to uncover a few little ways here and there to challenge her, whether you are talking about uncovering a past marriage or trying to get Daniel to fall in love with an old flame.
But Emily seemingly had the last laugh in the last new episode by drawing Daniel back in using something that many have seen coming: A “pregnancy.” It’s extremely doubtful that this is real, mostly because Emily plans on being “dead” long before anyone will be able to figure it out. But, she is using that to the best of her abilities in the sneak peek to prove to Victoria that any harm coming towards her would cause Daniel to suffer a panic attack for his supposed unborn child. Victoria doesn’t look very keen to believe it, but what is she going to do? It’s not like she can force Emily to take a pregnancy test, or find a doctor that does not actually exist. This is a good twist to the plan for the time being, and if this doesn’t work, she will come up with something else.
Unfortunately for Emily, the sad news that we know about already is that her revenge plot is going to have a not-so-happy ending. Someone shoots her, but it’s not Victoria.
