‘Hart of Dixie’ season 3, episode 5 preview: Rachel Bilson, Wilson Bethel’s next adventure

The latest -Is there a relationship crisis on “Hart of Dixie” next week? We would not call it that, but what we are going to see is basically what happens when a New York City hipster tries to do things in Alabama that he really has no business doing. If you thought that Zoe Hart was a fish out of water when it comes to BlueBell, Joel is a fish floating in outer space. This situation could not be any stranger for Zoe, and it is made all the worse courtesy of Joel having to be constantly around George, Wade, and some of the other “manly” guys that have come to personify the town.

There is going to be a fun sense of rivalry in this episode, which is where that title of “How Do You Like Me Now?” could come from. You also get the sense of that from the synopsis, that Zoe is challenged with trying to make most of the town (excluding Wade since they seem to have a bromance going on) actually get along with the guy. That is, as you would expect, not going to be easy.

“Zoe (Rachel Bilson) is blissfully happy when she sees how well Joel (guest star Josh Cooke) is adjusting to BlueBell, until, she learns the townspeople might have a different opinion of him. Wanting to make things better, Zoe volunteers herself and Joel to chaperone the Go Girl Tween Adventure Camp, but when Joel refuses to go along, she is left to fix the the town’s perception on her own. After a rough start with Lynly (guest star Antoinette Robertson), George (Scott Porter) is pleasantly surprised when he learns they work well together. Meanwhile, Lavon (Cress Williams) is desperate to be part of the Gazebos of Alabama calendar, but when a crucial flower mistake jeopardizes his plan, Lavon begs Lemon (Jaime King) to help save the day.”

The promo really just makes this episode look fun. One of the cool things about this in particular is that even when some episodes don’t work completely, you never feel completely miserable or depressed. It’s still silly and entertaining.
