ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 3, episode 5 video: Emily VanCamp, Josh Bowman’s stunning scene
Is the honeymoon over for Emily and Daniel before they even make it to the honeymoon? Based on the new sneak peek from Sunday night’s “Revenge” season 3 episode, you do have to wonder if that is indeed the case. After all, this once-happy couple (which was never really that happy, given that Emily has been faking it in the first place) has been forced to deal with yet another unwelcome variable, and this time, it may be Emily’s own listless behavior.
In the sneak peek video below, you can see Emily VanCamp’s character struggle somewhat with trying to find a way to make her relationship with her fiance (played by Josh Bowman) work, mostly because he is starting to have some very real / very understandable suspicions that she is not nearly as interested in getting married to him as she first let on. What could have possibly given him this idea? Think along the lines of her never really making much of an effort, or talking about the wedding planning. Heck, the only reason that they have made it this far is simply due to the fact Conrad’s medical crisis forced them to set the date.
So now, Emily is going to have to come up with a new, innovative way to play nice if she wants this relationship to work out. As for what this could include, think along the lines of figuring out just what is the thing that Daniel would really need to keep quiet for the time being, and then give it to him. If she can pull that off, then we may have here something that looks like a little bit of a victory … maybe. We know that Emily at least makes it to the wedding day regardless, and that someone shoots her off of the boat. There is no real happy ending to this, regardless of however you want to shake it. The only real possibility of hope is that somehow, Emily stays alive at the end of it.
