‘Supernatural’ season 9 spoilers: More on Jensen Ackles and ‘Dog Dean Afternoon’

Take a look -For at least the next two episodes, “Supernatural” has seemingly outdone themselves when it comes to creating some pretty entertaining premises and we can’t wait to see how it all unfolds.

Today, we put the focus on something that we admittedly could not be more excited to see play out: “Dog Dean Afternoon.” This is going to most-likely be a silly installment airing a week from Tuesday on November 5, as we are set to see almost everything from Dean communicating with animals to a surprising twist that should amp up both the action and the hilarity at the same time. Ultimately, what we have to say here is that this is going to be a fun one. Even the first two words from the CW’s official description have us in stitches:

“DOGGIE DEANLITTLE — While investigating two bizarre murders, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) realize there is an eyewitness to both gruesome deaths – a German Sheppard.  Anxious to find out if they are dealing with a witch, a skinwalker or other supernatural monster, the guys look up a spell that could let Dean “communicate” with the dog.  Unfortunately, the spell comes with side effects that no one saw coming.”

What really ultimately impresses us about an episode like this is that the show is really not that far away now from the 200 threshold, but they are still finding out a way to come up with new stuff. Also, we personally love it when crazy things happen to Dean more so than any other character, mostly because Jensen reacts to everything with such a variety of emotion. There’s no sign of Castiel in this description, but even if he doesn’t show up in this one, we know that he will be back the following week on November 12.

Even if this is a standalone hour of TV, does it sound as entertaining to you as it does on this end? Share below, and be sure to click here to get a glimpse at just what is coming up on “Supernatural” next week with “Slumber Party.”
