‘NCIS’ season 11, episode 6 preview: Tricks, treats, McGee, and Gibbs in ‘Oil & Water’

The latest -After what was a somewhat-serious “NCIS” episode tonight that featured some of Tony’s past, and also a breakdown where he openly admitted to missing Ziva, we are coming back next week with an episode that, at least in theory, looks to be pretty silly and fun. With Halloween coming up, next week’s “Oil & Water” seems to be an installment that seems to reference both this holiday and also April Fools’ Day at the same time, as there is a particular prankster running amok and causing trouble. Plus, there is a plan in place to try and trick Gibbs, which should be very much a treat for all of us.

As for some details on the more serious part of this episode (which is not included in the promo below), just be sure to read the full synopsis:

“NCIS partners with the Coast Guard Investigative Service to probe a suspicious explosion on board an oil rig. Meanwhile, a prankster targets the NCIS team.”

Given the inconsistent nature of the show the past few weeks, what we are really hoping for above all else is a version of “NCIS” next week that is really just fun. The November sweeps can be when the drama and the action really gets going again, but the show could use a good hour for fans to just sit back and laugh at without taking it too seriously, or wondering what is going to happen down the road. One of the good things about tonight’s “Once a Crook” was that even though there was a pretty tough scene to watch for Tony, Abby had some great stuff that allowed her to do something a little bit different (in work with Delilah).

Is there anything you want to see addressed on “NCIS” next week? Be sure to share any and all theories below! Meanwhile, just be sure to click here if you want to see our full review of tonight’s episode.
