‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4 spoilers: Tyler Blackburn on Halloween special, ‘Ravenswood’

What's next? -Is Tuesday night going to feature your average “Pretty Little Liars” episode? Far from it. Not only is this going to be the Halloween special (which is certainly rather different in itself), but this is a Halloween special that also serves as the backdoor pilot for “Ravenswood” the ABC Family show that is going to air come Tuesday night. By the end of this special, we are going to carry over straight into “Ravenswood,” and the story that will be set up for the rest of this show’s first season. We know that the cable network wants to have a big hit here, and given that they are getting a character from the main show in Caleb, it’s almost imperative that they do.

What is interesting, though, is that mere days before this episode airs, there is still no official word on just how Caleb ends up leaving Rosewood for good. For the time being, all Tyler Blackburn will say is the following in an interview with Zap2It:

“Hanna calls on Caleb and Caleb makes his way over there. … Caleb finds himself on a pretty eerie bus and on the bus is a girl named Miranda who is very similar to Caleb. They sort of hit it off but there’s a bit of tension as well. She’s basically Caleb’s counterpart … I think ‘Ravenswood’ will appeal to a lot of different types of people … yes, my character comes from ‘Pretty Little Liars,’ but ‘Ravenswood’ has a completely different storyline. There is very little connection to ‘Pretty Little Liars.’ It’s less about the glitz and glamour of these girls in high school and more about the raw creepiness that happens in Ravenswood. It’s truly a fight against death.”

So with that in mind, it’s probably fair to say that in a short amount of time, you can probably expect to see Caleb in many more life-changing and threatening situations on “Ravenswood” than he was on “Pretty Little Liars,” as hard as that may be to believe. But, we’ll reserve judgment on the end product until the show actually premieres.

For now, though, what do you think about some of Blackburn’s comments? Be sure to share some of your thoughts below! Meanwhile, click here if you are interested in reading some more news related to the show via Brant Daugherty.
