ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 3 spoilers: More scoop on Emily VanCamp’s latest hurdles
Anytime that you think that “Revenge” is starting to settle into some sort of pattern, think again: There is something crazy still on the horizon, and it could be here before you know it. How will the series surprise us next?
The sixth episode of the third season is entitled “Dissolution,” and this alone should suggest that there is going to be a little bit of trouble for Emily Thorne. Her relationship with Daniel Grayson is already starting to show cracks, and these could soon become fissures. Meanwhile, the entire Grayson family could be falling apart, and that really helps to pose the following question: Is Emily going to even have a need to marry Daniel anymore if the Graysons collapse on themselves? They would already be ruined, and we don’t even know how they could even be taken down any more than that. For them, having humiliation is a fate worse than death.

“Roadblocks seem to be mounting for Emily as Daniel’s attention is focused elsewhere, Grayson Manor may cease to exist, and two of the most important people in Emily’s life start turning on her – leading her to do something very uncharacteristic.”
Emily VanCamp and Josh Bowman have to be pleased with the material that they are getting right now, mostly because it’s allowing them to do all sorts of fun, crazy things. They can be devious, and at the same time, they can also take on some other challenges that come with a relationship … even one that is mounted on fiction and lies. This is not going to end well, and on “Revenge,” we wouldn’t have it any other way. The big mystery is just for who it is going to end up hurting the most.
