‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 10 spoilers: The story for Ellen Pompeo, Sandra Oh intensifies
Are Meredith and Cristina going to calm down over the next couple of weeks on “Grey’s Anatomy”? Based on what we are hearing now, it certainly does not sound like it. Instead, it only feels like the feud between the two characters is going to become even more strained as we near the end of Sandra Oh’s time on the show.
With that in mind, we present for you now some of the first details from “Two Against One,” an episode airing in a couple of weeks that really is okay with stirring up the drama. The emotions that Meredith and Cristina felt this past episode, as Ellen Pompeo’s character was accused of not being able to balance work and motherhood while excelling at both, are going to come to a head, especially when someone does something to stab the other person in the back. “A betrayal intensifies the issues between Cristina and Meredith; Matthew and April make a decision about their relationship; Bailey faces difficulties with Ben’s return.”
While we have no problem at all with an outbreak of drama when it comes to these two characters, there is still a question that you have to ask: How long is it going to last? We personally don’t want to see the fighting between these two friends go so long that they are going to remain at odds near the end of the season. Also, we don’t want to see Meredith ultimately be the reason that we see the couple go their separate ways. We realize that this could be a lot to ask at the end of the day, but if we sit here and hum the song “We Can Work It Out” to ourselves, maybe that will indeed happen for these two.
Also, these two have some other problems in that Cristina is not completely over Owen (and possibly never will be), and Meredith is still trying to deal with the simple fact that her schedule is taking a toll on her romantic relationship with Derek.
