‘Two and a Half Men’ season 11, episode 4 preview: Alan and Lyndsey keep up the ruse

The latest -Can “Two and a Half Men” keep a hot streak going? Last week, the show actually did a good job of taking a story that had really been done before (Berta trying to quit her job), and making it into something funny. Let’s face it: When you have been around for over a decade, it’s not easy to actually give your fan base something that is both new and exciting.

On tomorrow night’s episode, the focus is instead going to be placed on a different sort of scandalous storyline, as Alan and Lyndsey try to keep up their ridiculous little affair that they are having. The tough part of this story still remains that there is absolutely no reason why any woman in her right mind would want to be with this guy. He’s cheap, he’s crude, and he has way too high of an opinion about himself in the bedroom.

The other thing about this little secret sex right now is that we currently see the odds of the two of them actually going the rest of the season with this being a secret at around 0%. It’s pretty clear right now that the writers have no intention of getting rid of the Lyndsey character, since they could have very easily done so last year. Therefore, isn’t she a likely endgame for Alan, once he manages to work through the million or so issues in his life? His future seems at least a little more clear than what could happen with Walden. Early on, we thought that maybe he was going to be back with his ex, but Judy Greer has not been around in a while; meanwhile, we did really like Kate last year, but there is no word right now on if she will be staging a return (even though she could be available for at least the near future since “Royal Pains” is not filming yet).

We’ll have our full take on this “Two and a Half Men” episode after it airs on Thursday night. For now, just be sure to click here if you want to see the latest news about the stunning salary that both Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer are pulling in thanks to the show.
