‘Real Housewives of Miami’ preview: Adriana De Moura’s wild wedding (video)

Did you watch? -Is Adriana De Moura getting married on “The Real Housewives if Miami”? The answer to that is a bona fide “yes”, but as you would almost expect with 100% certainty from this show, it’s not going to come easy. As a matter of fact, it may very well be complete and utter mayhem. Expect chaos, tears, and waiting … tons of waiting. This wedding may seem to actually continue the tradition of the more famous you are, the longer you have the ability to make other people sit around.

Oh, and the word “bridezilla” is used here. That’s never good. As you can see in the synopsis / video below, Adriana’s got a tough time coming up just to get to the church in front of all of her guests:

“After six years of romantic bliss, Adriana and Frederic finally get to consummate their marriage license among the eyes of the church. With all eyes on Adriana, wedding bells transform this Brazilian beauty into a blustering Bridezilla. As her bridesmaids try not to sing the blues, Adriana’s guests are forced to anxiously wait for the bride-to-be.”

So why don’t we care more than we do? It’s a question that we find ourselves asking about most of the “Real Housewives of Miami” stars these days, since it seems to be the same exact problems time and time again. We have interesting characters, but no ones a star like a NeNe Leakes or a Teresa Giudice. This is the sort of thing that you want to make the rest of the other stories interesting, and what we have here are a cast of people who are all supporting players. They are likable, but they’re not the sort of people we have an easy time getting behind and tune in every week to see if they’re going to flip a table.

We have both Adriana De Moura and Joanna Krupa having big events taking place this season, and we feel the same way about both of them. While there are these big ceremonies and constant reminders of ‘we have more money than you,” there’s a sort of disconnect to them. The biggest level of intrigue we have just comes from a geographical / cultural perspective, though we have a feeling that the Cultural Studies of the Real Housewives cast would be a course that very few people would want to enroll in.
